SumitIf you want to hide a leaky faucet, or if you just want to be less of a dick about it and don’t mind getting dirty, there is a low-volume pullback. Just like a vent, it is very easy to pull. It is also easy to fix if needed, and if you are concerned about the water pressure, you can install a pullback and replace the existing hardware.
Many people have done this, and it is one of the easiest ways to stop leaks.
It depends on the water pressure and the size of the hole. The largest leak is about a gallon per square inch and would be stopped by a pullback. Larger holes would require more money and time to repair.
For example, here’s a video from last year showing how you can pull the old vent that leaks water into your house. The vent was in a bathroom, and in the video the water was just starting to exit out of the vent and into the house. I recommend doing it on an empty bathtub.
