I was intrigued to learn about the Relative Vigor Index (RVI) when reading [this article]. I have heard of a couple of methods to calculate the RVI but not many. I found that the best way to figure out whether you were a high- or low-RVI person is to apply the RVI to the average score on the Stanford University Psychological Test.
I’d never heard of this test, but it seems to have very good validity if you know what you’re looking for. I scored a 3.24 on the RVI. That is, if you were scoring a 3.2 to a 0.9, you were a “low” RVI person. I was a “high” RVI person.
